Michael Stokes

EDUCATION

• A.A. in English, Benedictine College
• B.A. in History and Theology, Benedictine College

Michael Stokes is entering his first year of teaching, having just graduated from Benedictine College in May of 2024. While at Benedictine, Michael served as a resident assistant, rugby captain, and the Benedictine College History Department's tutor while remaining active in underground basketball, lifting and prayer groups, and campus leadership.

Since 2017, Michael has served as a youth mentor and volunteer in Utah, Kansas, and most recently with marginalized youth in the Los Angeles area of California. His passion for sharing the truth, goodness, and beauty of Christ has drawn him back to his alma mater (Class of 2020) to teach freshman and sophomore theology. In his free time, Michael loves to play guitar, workout at his local boxing gym, write, read (yes, Tolkien is his favorite), and spend time with family and FaceTiming friends.

“Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great." (Lk 9:47-48)
