Ms. Jones has called many places home — the first being Cape Cod, Massachusetts where she grew up. She bounced between Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and North Carolina attending four different high schools and two colleges before landing in Utah.

Her journey to Utah was sparked by an internship with the Department of Defense that placed her on Hill Air Force Base working with military youth. She spent a majority of her young adulthood in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where she fell in love with the mountains, the college town of Boone, and a sense of adventure. Fun fact — she's afraid of heights, another fun fact — she was a canopy zip line tour guide when she discovered that fear and when she conquered it. Ms. Jones encourages all students to take risks, be kind, and make choices for themselves (even and especially when it is scary).

Her professional experiences span across Appalachian State University, her alma mater, where she first got into college admissions and the University of Utah where she continued her work in college admissions and expanded into research administration managing NIH institutional training grants.

When she's not at Judge she can be found indoor cycling (big Torrent Cycle and Peloton fan) or spending time with her family. She is married with one daughter, a gray fluffy kitty named Kitty Bear, and a near 160 pound Mastiff/Lab mix named Waylon.

If she wasn't in her current role she would be running a Saint Bernard rescue and convincing her husband they should adopt every one of them.
