Jeremy Petty

Jeremy Petty was raised mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area, before pursuing a BA in French with an emphasis in International Relations from BYU. He taught English to 5th graders in southwestern France and lived in Paris before returning to the U.S.

For the past 18 years, he has been an entrepreneur, running his Art Gallery in Los Angeles before leaving to become a private dealer and Art Advisor and moving with his family to Salt Lake City. Last year, Mr. Petty dipped his toe back into teaching as a substitute at Judge Memorial, and now looks forward to being a first year French teacher at Judge and The Madeleine Choir School.

Mr. Petty and his wife have four children living at home, one of whom is a junior at the University of Utah. The youngest finished kindergarten at La Maison des Enfants, a French Immersion school, and is starting at the Madeleine Choir School. They love to chase the waterfalls and desert landscapes of Utah and travel frequently throughout Europe and the U.S.
